Morocco Lights
My sister made the video clip with the photos I took in Marrakech one night. There is a huge square, Djemma elFna, in middle of the medina. Everyday around 5pm, the area will be set up with booths, tables, food, and hired waiters who would try to seduce you to eat at their table.
Our hotel was on one side of the square with a rooftop dining area. One night, after eating at a restaurant across the square on the roof, I started taking pictures with the night scene feature on to capture people and vehicles in motion. After the dinner was finished, we went back to the hotel and I decided to go up on the roof to take more pictures.
Later, few months afterwards, my sister put together the pictures into a video clip and sent me the link. I didn’t know her youtube handle and was shocked to see my pictures up on the website. Later, I realized it was my sister who did this and was immensely relieved!
You could see the smoke going on at the square, people walking around wearing their wrappings and plenty of motorcycles and cars zooming between the crowds. Marrakech and Morocco in general holds a special place in my heart.
